THE MDG DIFFERENCE

We build your home twice. The first time, it’s a model you can walk through.

“All of our home designs are built in 3D, and we are able to walk you through your home before we even put a shovel into the ground. This allows our team to catch conflicts during the design phase, far before it impacts the delivery of the project in the field.”

We model your house in Autodesk Revit — structure, framing, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, cabinetry, ceiling heights, sight lines. Then we walk you through it. You stand in your kitchen and look out the window over the sink before that window is ordered.

No other custom builder in North Atlanta offers this.

3D models are provided as design visualization. Sealed and stamped engineered plan sheets govern all construction.

TURNKEY DELIVERY

The only custom builder in North Atlanta with its own civil engineering firm.

Most custom builders start the day you hand them a lot and a set of plans. We start before you buy the land. Mack Engineering, our licensed Georgia civil engineering firm, evaluates the property before acquisition to confirm it can carry the home you want at the budget you have — topography, soils, septic or sewer, stormwater, floodplain, buffers, setbacks, zoning, access, utilities. Then the same firm produces the feasibility report, concept site plan, zoning exhibits, grading and land disturbance plans, erosion control, stormwater design, and septic or sewer design. In-house, on one schedule, under one project manager. Most builders hire that work out and wait. We walk down the hall.
